Regatta Results

The 2007 Squaddy Brass Monkey Regatta was sailed in weather that could easily be mistaken for spring. Above average temperatures and clear blue skies made it a very enjoyable regatta for Sailors, Spectators and Volunteers.

The Brass Monkey Trophy was awarded to Tara McCall and Alana O'Connor who sailed their NS14 "Finger Licking Good" well to 5th position in Division 3. There were lots of potential candidates for this award however these two sealed it by having permanent grins on their faces in every race.

Division 2 was won by seasoned campaigners Jonothan Temple and Richard Jones on their 12 foot skiff "O". They ended up three points ahead of second placed Stephen Medwell on his F18 "Seawind"

In Division 3, Greg Roche and Daniel Yaxley sailing MG14 "Final Phase" to victory, narrowly beating Hugh Tait and Rosa O'Connor on "Fire n Ice", an NS14; Only 1 point was the difference.

Division 1 was merged with Division 2 due to fewer than expected entries. Full results are available here:
